Cancer care increasingly depends on repeated molecular and cellular measurements to determine whether a tumor is progressing, responding to therapy, or developing resistance. Many advanced diagnostic technologies, however, require centralized laboratories, expensive instrumentation, and specialized infrastructure.

Our engineering and cancer biology teams are developing microfluidic diagnostic platforms designed to miniaturize and simplify cancer-related testing. These systems are intended to process small biological samples while reducing reagent requirements, assay complexity, and overall testing costs.

Our long-term objective is to develop portable and scalable technologies that can support cancer detection, biomarker assessment, and longitudinal monitoring during treatment. By combining microfluidics with automation, biosensing, and data analytics, we aim to make sophisticated cancer diagnostics more accessible both within major medical centers and in resource-limited healthcare settings.
